• Replacement latch for Kwikset Privacy or Passage knobs/levers
• Adjustable backset 2-3/8″ to 2-3/4″
• Round corner latch

This latch is designed to be used with Kwikset hardware that use a half round shaped spindle.  You will need to check the design of your handle to ensure this replacement will work. 

There are two types of spindles that Kwikset handles use.  Either a square spindle or a half round.  This replacement latch will not work with a square shafted spindle.
